Why We Do what we do
About Us
As moms, we were frustrated with the harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and parabens found in commercial bar soaps. So, we took matters into our own hands and started crafting our natural soap using our own farm-raised lard. Now, we share our wonderful, non-toxic soap with our community, providing a gentle and sustainable option for families like ours.
How We Do it
How We Make Our Soap
It all starts with lard.
Our lard comes from our American Guinea Hogs. Our pigs have 10 wooded & pastured acres to roam and forage in. Along with their daily feed, our spoiled pigs also receive delicious kitchen scraps on a regular basis. They are joined on the farm by chickens, goats, cows and number of cats.
Did You Know?
When it comes to cellular makeup, lard has a similar pH to that of human skin. Since lard is so similar to our own bodies oils, it’s perfect to be used as a skincare product for humans in many forms, including soap!
